Schematic Design
Now
the real fun begins. The computer has revolutionized the way we
design homes. We used to have to show clients 2 dimensional
representations of how their house would look. We found that many
people had a hard time visualizing their home this way. Now we use 3d modeling
software for all of our design work. This gives our clients the
tools to better understand what their house will look like.
So
at this point we develop a 3d model of the site and place conceptual
models on that site. Part of this process involves developing
conceptual floor plans that match those models. Once we’ve taken
our first stab at a conceptual design we meet with you to discuss it. We
will supply you with software that can enable you to view the design
from any angle. You can zoom in or out and look at it from any
perspective. This also allows
you to compare options in real time.
