The Proposal
After
the interview we’ll give you a proposal.
Generally we’ll give you a verbal
proposal at the initial consultation and follow up with a written
proposal when we get back to the office. Occasionally we learn
something in the initial consultation that requires us to do further
research before we can make our proposal. In that case we’ll
do the additional research first.
Our proposals generally have 3 parts.
- The design, which we bill on an hourly basis
- The construction documents, for which we charge a flat fee and
- The additional services, which we again bill on an hourly basis
