Sustainable design & construction methods
We
have a strong historic interest in preserving our environment.
Both Rick Anderson and Steve Cox, the developer, have served on the
Board of Trustees of The Mountaineers (the largest wilderness
recreation organization in the Northwest). In addition to this
we have filled many volunteer roles in that organization.
Riverton Park Cottages is a commercial expression of our commitment. This project is designed to be "Built Green" 5 star certified. This is the highest rating that can be obtained and is the first Built Green project in the City of Tukwila. Notable features of this Built Green design are as follows.
